Haven Dynamic Adwords

Today I have been up at Arena Media to work on implementing dynamic Google Adwords for Haven Holidays. The Dynamad application I built gives companies the ability to dynamically add copy to their Adwords without getting penalised for creating brand new adverts each time they want to update their ad.

Arcade Fire Show Off HTML5

This has been around for about a week now but it's an amazing example of HTML5 (with probably a little help from CSS/JQuery too). The Arcade Fire new song "We Used To Wait" has been used as a backdrop to this music video that pulls images from Google Maps and Google Streetview from your own specified hometown.

I found this amazing site yesterday, it was built by a Google employee and demonstrates the power of HTML5 and it's new features. Combined with CSS and JavaScript techniques HTML5 can be a very powerful. Examples of client-side db storage, new CSS tricks, and new HTML5 tags are just a few examples put forward.

Don’t Slate The iPad

Yesterday iPad that was brought into the office 2 days prior to the UK release (which is tomorrow). It was the first chance to get a look at the "haloed" piece of technology, and even though I didn't actually get to use the device it still was mouth-wateringly delicious to look at.

New Google Adwords API

Google Adwords has released a new API - AdWords API: v201003 beta. The previous v200909 will still work so there's no need to update any code yet. However, the updated API contains a few new useful functions
